I live in the charming mountain town of Brevard, North Carolina. Brevard is nestled in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, surrounded by lush, green forests and sparkling rivers and lakes. My scenic town is famous for the 100+ waterfalls, as well as hiking, camping, fishing and mountain biking. Music and art also have a strong presence here, with musicians coming from all over the world to perform at the Brevard Music Center. There are many lovely shops and restaurants in town, which complements the small town atmosphere. In addition, the larger city of Asheville is only 30 minutes way. I am a recent empty-nester and would like to host female guests only. My house has an upstairs level and a downstairs level. Guest accommodations would be on the lower level, which is quite large with a living room, bedroom, bathroom and private outdoor deck. The guest bedroom has a bed, desk, bookcase and closet. The living room has a large sofa, chair, bookcases and television. There is a large private bathroom. The kitchen and laundry are located on the main level, and are available for guest use. I am an avid tennis player and play on competitive teams. I also hike a great deal. I also enjoy painting and crafting. I work full-time, but love to be home whenever possible. Guests would be most welcome to join in any of my activities.
