Ahmed's homestay is in a nice quiet country place away from the town. I chose to stay in another of the houses he owns where I enjoyed full privacy in a complete apartment to myself overlooking the fields for about 20 dollars per night, so you can negotiate. not much around, apart from a good restaurant called Alladdin's which is all you need if you want to stay close. Otherwise its easy and cheap to hop on a boat across the river. Comfortable and well located away from the hussle and bustle and Ahmed is helpful.
