About our place it is outdoor living which makes it magical and gives you the feel of being in a peaceful tropical park. . We will inspirer you with simple charm and rustic beauty. Redefine possible with our Bohemian style . Out door living at it's finest. We are on over 1 acer and a half with walking trails and many places to sit and enjoy the ocean views. We have 2 different cottages to choose from one is very open and close to the common room , kitchen and bathroom. We have a lovely bush trail that takes you to one of the main roads that leads you down hill to Honeymoon beach and it is less than 10 minutes away. Water Island the smallest of the US Virgin Islands at just under 500 acres, is a safe, quiet, naturalist's island with many pristine areas. It is a sparsely populated residential island with about 100 dwellings and families which are some of the friendliest people you will ever meet. A vacation on Water Island might include: relaxing days on the beach, kayaking, exploring the shoreline at Limestone, a day of fishing or boating, a day trip to St. Thomas, hiking around the island, exploring the remains of military fortifications, joining residents for movie night on the beach, having lunch and drinks at Honeymoon Bay and taking a bike tour. Water Island does not have taxis, public transportation, gas stations, hotels, shops or a main town. Residents and visitors depend on St. Thomas, located just a half-mile away, for groceries and supplies. The gateway to Water Island is the St. Thomas airport. A ferry operates between the two islands.We have a few nice beaches and we are only 5 minutes from ST.Thomas and about 20 minutes to down Town ST Thomas where you can catch a ferry to St John, The British Virgin islands.. The last ferry back to Water island is a 6PM so if you like to stay out late you can hike down to Joe's beach Bar for a cocktail at the beach.Water Island schedule The Honeymoon Grill and Joe's Beach Bar are located on Honeymoon Beach. Pirates Ridge serves Pizza on Friday night. Heide's Honeymoon Grill serves dinner at the beach on Saturday night Joe's beach bar has a pot luck on Sundays late afternoon. There is a drive in movie on the beach on Mondays. Bingo at the beach on Wednesday nights. Tuesday & Thursday nights Tribal sunset sail with cocktails and a gentle wind. We have a small book exchange at the ferry dock and a bike tour company on island. Water island a wonderful place to wind down or not? Sailing and snorkel tours to St John,The BVI'S, Buck Island on board the Tribal sail Trimaran with Matthias he does a Water island pick up. Tribal sunset sails are amazing.
